The CIU 201 communication interface enables wired data transmission between SCADA systems and I/Os + Grundfos products. Data is transmitted using the Modbus RTU fieldbus protocol.
The interface offers easy system integration in both new and existing systems, as the Modbus RTU protocol is supported by many control and automation systems.
The CIU 901 is a standard interface unit with internal power supply and I/O card for integration of the CIM, for wall or top-hat rail mounting. These have an integrated 24 - 240 V AC/DC power supply. Grundfos products can connect to the CIM module via the GENIbus.
The integrated I/O universal card enables monitoring of pumps, sensors, meters and switches via
- 2 configurable digital inputs (open-circuit voltage 5 V DC) / analogue inputs ( 0-10 V/0-20 mA/4-20 mA )
- 2 digital inputs (open-circuit voltage 5 V DC)
- 1 Pt100/Pt1000 input
- 1 analogue output (0-10 V, maximum current at output: 1 mA)
- 1 relay ouput (240 V AC, 2 A)
The signals at the digital inputs are evaluated internally. Operating hours and start counters are available for monitoring operation.
